Jay and Silent Bob Get Old In Halifax!

Went to the Spatz theatre last night to see the masters of the subtle arts (dick and fart jokes that is) Kevin Smith and Jason Mewes. MGD was there in full force (4 of our 6 attended). It was a lovely evening for all of us. The podcast should be put up here (I don't know when). Hit the jump for my take on the evening with Kevin.

This was my first time seeing Mr. Smith (I was overseas for his first show in Halifax), I am not exaggerating when I say it was the most enchanting two hours of my life. I could listen to Kevin and Jason talk about Jason's dick for hours (which is kinda what happened). I won't talk about it too much (you should be listening to the podcast not reading me talk about it! Shame! Shame on you!) There are a couple cool things I'd like to bring up. 

First is the image above. Smith tweeted that he was looking for artists to make him and Mewes a poster for the tour. Out of all the entries he was sent, a Haligonian Artist James Walker ended up being picked. Smith was so happy about the work that he now has Walker working on a whole series of posters representing each Canadian local he and Mewes visited. (Go local... stuff!)
